Congratulations to Maris Dreimanis, our first-ever Gold International Diamond in Latvia! It's an exciting time to be a 4Life distributor, and we're so pleased with the accomplishments achieved by Maris and his team.

Prior to 4Life, I owned a successful security company. While the job provided good income, it was too intense and stressful for me. I learned about 4Life in the summer of 2004 from my enroller and sponsor International Diamond Tatiana Yachnaya. Although I had previous experience in the network marketing industry, I had never heard of 4Life Transfer Factor^® before.

4Life seemed different than any other company, and so, I decided to travel to the United States to visit the Home Office. I felt such sincerity, kindness, and a desire to help others from the people who stand behind this company. They have a vision and plans to implement that vision.

I love sharing the 4Life message and I am grateful to my team for helping me achieve my goal of becoming a Gold International Diamond. Thanks to 4Life, I keep moving forward on the road of financial stability and success. I'm happy to be able to help people achieve their hopes and dreams.

We are so pleased to announce that the 4Life Freedom Singers will be performing in Philadelphia at Convention 2012: Passport to Freedom. This is a music ensemble of people from Germany, Russia, Switzerland, France, and the United States. We were so moved by their inspiring "We Live 4Life" video that we wanted to have them perform new songs at convention that represent our Passport to Freedom theme.

It's been said that the most powerful music and art is that which comes from the artist's passion to communicate themes that are important to him or her. When we met band leader Helge Zumdieck and the 4Life Freedom Singers, we understood that their music is so powerful, in part, because it is born out of a deep love and gratitude for 4Life. Hearing Helge tell his story of how "4Life saved his life" and "gave him life" is as inspiring as the stirring music he has written about our company.

We really like this quote by Benjamin Franklin. So often in life, we have found it easy to be at war with others, without giving much attention to what needs to be changed within our own hearts, attitudes, and behaviors. Of course we realize that none of us is perfect. But shouldn't the mere opportunity to strive continually to improve our characters bring us more hope than discouragement?

We definitely think so. While the long-lasting change of character can and should be a lifetime endeavor, we are excited for the opportunity at the beginning of each year to reflect on areas in which we have done well and also think about those ares in which we might have need for improvement. As a great musician or artist does, in order to create a masterpiece out of our own lives, we too must have the courage to undergo a true and honest evaluation of our work. By doing so, we can celebrate our strengths and use them to help overcome our weaknesses. And, oftentimes, our weaknesses can be the means through which our strengths become even stronger.

We wish you all a great 2012. May it be a year filled with personal growth, success, and happiness!

We are thrilled that Noel Albelo and Sandra Jiménez from Florida, USA have reached the Gold International Diamond level. No matter the obstacles that were presented to them, they persevered in making their dreams come true. Congratulations, Noel and Sandra!

We decided to enter the network marketing industry because we were tired of not having enough time or money. We recognized that network marketing could help us take control of both at the same time and support our health as well. When we were introduced to 4Life, we truly didn't have anything. All we had was an old car, a rental apartment, lots of debt, and two jobs that gave us no lifestyle direction or time to do what we really wanted. Thanks to God and 4Life, we have quit our jobs and paid off our debts. We live in a nice neighborhood, drive nice cars, help our family, and most of all, have time to enjoy our children and leave a legacy for many generations to come.

We have enjoyed many great 4Life experiences, but the one that impacted us the most was receiving the Silver Dollar award. It was wonderful to be recognized for sharing the same values as Founders David and Bianca Lisonbee. Since that day, we have felt a personal commitment with them to continue working and taking this message of hope to the world.

We're happy and thankful that we have achieved the Gold International Diamond level. We still have a lot to do and we know this is just the beginning of decades of prosperity and wealth, in which thousands of families will have the opportunity to transform their present and future. Ever since I was a child, I have worked to support myself and my family. I entered the network marketing industry because it offered the opportunity to break free from the typical, boring job. It's the business of the future. I learned about 4Life five years ago from International Diamond Celestino Torres. When I was introduced to the 4Life opportunity, I knew it was my ticket to a better future.

One of the most significant moments in my 4Life journey was when I achieved the Diamond rank. Because of my circumstances at the time, it was difficult to convince anyone that this was, in fact, a great opportunity. Many people thought I was crazy, but when I achieved the Diamond rank, I knew that my life was never going to be the same.

I am so happy and thankful to God that I have achieved the Gold International Diamond level. I am grateful that after putting in so much effort and sacrificing so much, I have finally reached the goals that I set for myself. I am motivated to achieve even higher levels of success for the sake of my wife, Gabriela, and son, Josué David Marín Villamonte. They are the fuel to my engine. I want to provide the best for them, help people in need, and achieve the life that I desire.

Before 4Life, I didn't even have money to pay for a bus ride. Today, I drive a nice and comfortable SUV and I'm working to buy my own home. It was an honor for us to represent all of you last week on the NBC TODAY show in New York City for their annual holiday toy drive. This is the fifth year 4Life has participated with the Direct Selling Association in supporting this great cause. Because of your generosity and the continued success of 4Life, this year we were able to contribute 2,500 backpacks, each filled with school supplies, toys (a cow pillow pet and remote control truck), a tube of enummi^® Toothpaste, toothbrush, and a bottle of 4Life Transfer Factor^® Chewable Tri-Factor^® Formula.

It was exciting to be on national television on a show that is so well-known in the United States. Whenever we felt a bit nervous, we thought of all of you and our hearts were filled with gratitude to have the chance to represent the great generosity and giving hearts of the 4Life family.

While we were in New York, many of our Home Office employees worked for hours to assemble the backpacks during their already busy workdays. Amazing Experiences in the Dominican Republic

The kids at St. Vincent's love 4Life Fortify!

Last week, we enjoyed a truly amazing trip to the Dominican Republic. First, we visited St. Vincent de Paul Children's Center in Santo Domingo. It felt like Christmas already with decorations throughout and holiday music playing in the halls. And Santa Claus came early, in the form of 4Life distributors! We were proud to help deliver 1,000 bags of 4Life Fortify^® and watch the children enjoy eating it. St. Vincent's serves as a sanctuary for over 300 children.

After our visit to St. Vincent's, Gold International Diamond Esdras Cabrera Alberto took us to the homes of four of the students. There is no way to truly describe the destitute living conditions we witnessed. These single moms wash clothes or clean houses while the children are at school so they can make enough money to survive. One home was actually just a space underground, the road above acting as a ceiling. The nuns at St. Vincent's said that children will often return to school on Monday so weak from lack of food that they faint.

We're glad to know that 4Life Fortify will be put to very good use at the school and that the four families we visited will also receive it on a monthly basis. But, Santa still needs a lot of help! As 4Life continues to grow, our ability to serve people in need grows as well. We are so grateful to the generous hearts of our distributors like Esdras who truly make Together, Building People their life's work.

Next, we visited a local children's hospital where Sister Carmen from La Casa Rosada orphanage now works. It was a difficult thing to see the suffering of those children. But it was good to hear Sister Carmen speak so highly of 4Life products as she introduced us to children who have been helped by them.

We also attended a 4Life distributor rally at the National Theater in Santo Domingo. A favorite venue for performers such as Luciano Pavarotti and Ricky Martin, this time it was filled to capacity with 4Life distributors. It was wonderful to witness the success that makes our worldwide service endeavors possible. We heard from dynamic leaders such as Platinum International Diamond Juan Rosado and Gold International Diamond Giovanni Perotti. Plus, we enjoyed a fantastic dance performance by some of the children from La Casa Rosada.

We ended our trip with a visit to La Casa Rosada. It's always a sweet experience to witness the great work that continues there and feel the love and gratitude of the nuns and children.

Our time in the Dominican Republic was humbling. But, it was also a wonderful reminder of the great hearts of 4Life family members. Together, we can do—and we are doing—things that we could never do alone. Yes, there is a Santa Claus and his magic exists in all of us as we build and lift people through the science, success, and service that 4Life has to offer.

Living with a Grateful Heart

Last week, we celebrated the Thanksgiving holiday in the United States. It's always a wonderful chance to gather with family and friends and think about the things and people for which we are most grateful.

Gratitude engenders humility, and humility brings about gratitude. Living in a state of gratitude can help you focus on the positive aspects of your life. When you try to be thankful, it becomes easier to see challenges as valuable life experiences that help you grow stronger.

Recently, we participated in an exercise in which we were asked to think of a person who had blessed us in a time of need. We then wrote a note of thanks to that person, expressing our gratitude for what he or she did. We invite each of you to try this exercise!

When you count your blessings, it can help you recognize all the people who have blessed your life by their examples. We count you, our wonderful 4Life family members, as some of our greatest blessings. Thank you for all of your love, support, and commitment to the mission of 4Life!

4Life Events in Malaysia and South Korea

Recently, we attended two great 4Life meetings in Malaysia and South Korea. It was wonderful to feel the momentum and energy of our distributors and recognize them for their significant achievements in building their businesses and supporting their team members.

Attended by more than 2,500 people, we were joined at the LEAP Malaysia/Singapore convention in Petaling Jaya, Selangor, Malaysia by several 4Life executives, Platinum International Diamonds Sadik Din and Hasnimah, and seven Gold International Diamonds. During the event, we recognized many distributors for rank achievements, including Gold International Diamonds Dr. Eduard Hutabarat and Katharina Sihombing, 15 new International Diamonds, 80 Presidential Diamonds, and 250 Diamonds. Plus, the new packaging for enummi^® Skin Care products and enummi^® Life C Energizing Serum^™ were launched. We also continued our service commitment to PERNIM orphanage with a donation check of RM 10,000.

At the Yangjae-El-Tower in Seoul, South Korea, we gathered with more than 500 attendees to celebrate the success of our Korean market. We were joined by 4Life executives and Gold International Diamonds Dr. Jase Khyeam and Mr. Son Jae Min. The event focused on 4Life science, success, and service, and we launched the new enummi packaging and new enummi product. One of the highlights was a performance by a children's choir, including a solo sung by a talented young girl. Their voices touched all of our hearts.

As always, the best part of both meetings was listening to great success stories by our dynamic 4Life leaders. We are so thankful for opportunities to meet with you and express our gratitude for everything you've achieved.

Last week, Platinum International Diamonds Jeff and Michelle Altgilbers visited the 4Life Home Office with their son Arthur. It's always fun to welcome special guests on our very own red carpet. During a 4Life staff luncheon, Jeff told his 4Life story and shared how 4Life has blessed his life. We've known Jeff for several years and it's been great to watch him grow and develop, in both his 4Life business and his personal life. Jeff met his lovely wife Michelle while building his 4Life business in Asia and he refers to their three year-old son Arthur as their 4Life baby. Arthur loves to drink 4Life Transfer Factor^® RioVida^® Tri-Factor^® Formula, which was evidenced by the tight hold he had on a bottle of RioVida during their visit. As a special treat during the luncheon, we were privileged to hear from International Diamond and Health Sciences Advisory Board Member Duane Townsend, MD. Dr. Townsend shared his belief that 4Life will be around for a long time because of the solid science of our products and the solid leadership of the executive team. Dr. Townsend also spoke about the benefits of 4Life products such as 4Life Transfer Factor^® Belle Vie^®. As a gynecologic oncologist, it's one of his favorite products. We are so pleased to announce the keynote speaker for Convention 2012: Passport to Freedom—J.R. Martinez!

In 2003, J.R. Martinez was severely burned after a Humvee explosion during a military deployment in Iraq. During his time in recovery, J.R. began sharing his story and learning from others' experiences. Since then, J.R. has become a highly sought-after motivational speaker, traveling the country to spread his message of resilience and optimism. Also, J.R. played combat veteran Brot Monroe on ABC's daytime drama, "All My Children" for close to three years.

J.R. Martinez went through a harrowing and life-changing event, but he refused to let it define his outlook on life and his future. Rather, he learned from his adversity and used that knowledge to help others rise above their own life challenges. J.R. says that he's grateful for what happened to him because it paved the way for his life today.

Recently, we mentioned to some family members that J.R. Martinez was going to speak at 4Life's upcoming convention. We were surprised to see that they were really excited! One female family member confessed to having a crush on J.R. since she first saw him perform on "Dancing with the Stars." Another said that she was really impressed when she read his story in the November 7 issue of People magazine. We're pleased that our family members are excited about this convention keynote speaker announcement. And, we're confident that you, our 4Life family members, will also be equally thrilled to hear J.R. Martinez tell his story of triumph over great adversity.

We think our theme of "Passport to Freedom" fits in perfectly with J.R.'s message of finding hope, overcoming trials, and achieving dreams. A few weeks ago, we were privileged to watch Team 4Life member Brady Stewart earn the gold medal and set a new record at the sixth annual IPF/NAPF North American Regional Bench Press Championships in Miami, Florida. Stewart competed in the 120 kilo/264 pound weight class with a lift of 300 kilos or 661 pounds. As the youngest member of Team 4Life, 28-year-old Brady Stewart comes from a small town in southern Illinois, but he has always had big-time athletic goals.

Brady says that power lifting has been a great blessing in his life. "I've met some of the best people and I've made lifelong friends," he said. "We support each other and we enjoy watching each other succeed and move forward. I get to compete doing something that I love and share it with my friends and family."

Brady discovered 4Life Transfer Factor^® while doing research to help a close family member who needed health support. When he learned more about the product line and the company, Brady knew he wanted to be a part of Team 4Life. Together, Building Great Memories

Last week, we had the opportunity to attend the Gold Getaway event with our qualifying Gold International Diamond and Platinum International Diamond leaders at the Atlantis resort in the Bahamas. The resort itself was amazing, with several water slides, a fitness center, fantastic shopping options, and even a world-class golf course. Our group interacted with dolphins, took a private boat to Rose Island for lunch and snorkeling, and enjoyed plenty of delicious food. It was definitely an experience that none of us will ever forget!

When we told someone (not acquainted with 4Life) that this was part of what we regularly do with our top leaders, he was very impressed. This is what 4Life's passport to freedom gives us—the chance to go places we would never have dreamed about and travel there with the people we love. We were thrilled to see so many of our distributors there with their children and grandchildren. We even had a few of our children and one of our granddaughters with us. These are the times we cherish as a 4Life family. Together, Building People is also about together, building great memories!

Recently, Foundation 4Life^® made a $25,000 USD donation to the Team Rentería Baseball Academy. Edgar Rentería, Team 4Life member and World Series Most Valuable Player (MVP), founded this organization in Barranquilla, Colombia to educate kids on social risks in their community, provide a positive and rewarding sports environment, engage children in baseball to keep them off the streets, and focus on the pursuit of maximizing individual talent. More than 400 kids in Colombia take part in activities in the academy.

We are honored to be affiliated with someone like Edgar, who pursues excellence both on and off the baseball field. We will never forget our first visit to New Zealand and Australia. We were so impressed with the passion and kindness of the distributors we met there. The people "Down Under" are known for their entrepreneurial and adventurous spirit and we have witnessed firsthand that spirit in our Australia and New Zealand distributors. As they fulfill the mission of Together, Building People, the people "Down Under" are truly putting 4Life on top.

Australia and New Zealand were two of the first global 4Life markets and during 2011, this region is celebrating its decade anniversary. Sales for Australia, New Zealand, and the emerging market of Papua New Guinea have been phenomenal in recent months. In July 2011, combined sales for both markets were over 50% higher than July of 2010. Plus, rank advancements in July were up 160% throughout the region!

Thanks to the big hearts and generosity of our 4Life family members, we are helping bring delicious and nutritious meals to children who know hunger on a daily basis.

Since the launch of 4Life Fortify^® in September 2010, 4Life distributors and employees have worked together to help feed hungry children. Together, we have provided 4Life Fortify meals to children and their families in Honduras, Ecuador, the Philippines, Costa Rica, Mexico, the United States, the Dominican Republic, and Pakistan. And, we are currently preparing other countries to receive shipments. We are certain that each of those meals was greatly appreciated and enjoyed by the child that consumed it.

At the last count, we have provided 1.4 million 4Life Fortify meals to deserving children and their families. This is an amazing number, but who can really quantify the influence for good that even one child can have when she has the tools she needs to break out of the cycle of poverty, gain a good education, and be a good example for others in her community. Last week, our grandchildren started a new school year. We thought back to our own excitement as kids about starting each new school year. A few weeks ago, I had the opportunity to speak with Gold International Diamond Lyubov Alimova. The first Gold International Diamond in Eurasia, Lyubov had just celebrated her 55th birthday. She shared some very inspirational thoughts with me that I wanted to pass on to you. I think we can all learn a lot from her fantastic attitude about life.

"Before 4Life, I always thought I'd be retired at age 55. People would often tell me that everything would go downhill after that point. I always thought I'd be glad if I even made it to retirement. And now, I feel like my life is just beginning at age 55!

Don't Be Your Worst Enemy

Recently, we learned about the experience of a young woman who dreamed of playing basketball at a college that she loved and wanted to attend. This young woman played on her high school team, and after graduation, she decided to try out for the college team of her dreams. The college coach even talked to her personally about it.

The young woman described what she felt as she arrived at the gym door the day of tryouts and observed the other girls. She thought they looked taller, faster, and better than her. This young woman stood longingly at the door for quite a while before deciding that she would not go in. It wasn't until years later that her acquaintance with the college coach was re-kindled. The coach said something that felt like a dagger in the young woman's heart. The coach asked her why she never came to try out. Apparently, that year the team had a vacancy that the young woman could have filled nicely.

You can imagine the regret and sense of sorrow that this woman felt when she realized that no one had kept her from her dream except herself. We have thought about this experience a lot. What false perceptions or self-imposed limitations do you place on yourself that keep you from achieving your dreams?

I've heard people say that they sometimes find it tough to really convey the power of 4Life Transfer Factor^® because they don't have what they think is a great personal story with the products. This is a great quote I recently read on the website of Presidential Diamond Dr. Valentina Szabo. Recently, I had the opportunity to speak with Dr. Szabo, who lives in Australia. I was inspired by the work she is doing and the success she has experienced. I wanted to share a little of what I learned about her with all of you.

Dr. Szabo is a dedicated health practitioner who has a great desire to help people. She has always been interested in supplements that help support the immune system. She had been using immune system support preparations in her practice via injection, but had been searching for products that could be taken orally. While attending the recent distributor meeting in Colombia hosted by the International Networkers Team (INT), we were so impressed with a speech given by a 12 year-old young man from Puerto Rico named Raymond Ostolaza. He stood before the 10,000-plus people in attendance and spoke so passionately and articulately that it didn't even matter if you could understand Spanish or not. We were all so inspired by Raymond's enthusiasm and heartfelt passion. He was remarkably eloquent!

Raymond expressed gratitude for his parents, Presidential Diamonds Juan Ostolaza Rivera and Carmen Otero Pagán, and for their desire to go the extra mile to follow their dreams. He thanked 4Life and INT for providing the way. Raymond encouraged children to have faith in their parents and support them. Raymond expressed his gratitude for being involved in the work of building and helping people.

Raymond's mom says that from a young age, he stood out among his peers. In his preschool program, Raymond surprised his teacher with his broad vocabulary. In first grade, he wrote something for school about drug abstinence. At his first 4Life convention in 2007, Raymond introduced his parents, newly qualified Diamonds, on stage. His goal is to help others in need, especially children. We can't wait to see what this amazing young man accomplishes in the future. Maybe we'll see him in ten years as a successful 4Life distributor!

Freedom to Choose

One of our favorite books is Man's Search for Meaning by Viktor Frankl. It is the true story of his incarceration in a Nazi concentration camp. Frankl writes about how he and the other prisoners were stripped of all their basic human freedoms. He could no longer choose what to do. He could not choose what he ate, where he went, or even when or where he slept. He was not free to speak or act. And, he was powerless against the very cruel treatment he received at the hands of the guards. However, Frankl states that he discovered an amazing truth in the midst of this trial.

No matter what freedoms are taken from us, we are still free to choose our attitude in any given situation. This realization brought Frankl great peace and employment in the midst of what could have been an overwhelming challenge to the human spirit.

While hopefully we will never experience these types of limits to our freedoms, many of us suffer greatly from the challenges of unemployment, debt, and poor health, or the consequences of actions over which we have little control. But we can take courage in the words of Viktor Frankl. We can choose how we will react to our challenges.

In April 2012, 4Life will host its international convention in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The theme for the event is Passport to Freedom. We invite you now to make a choice. I was introduced to 4Life by International Diamond Belinda Pérez. Before 4Life, I was a slave to the trucking company I owned. I worked long hours both day and night and I neglected my health. Dr. Wayne Dyer is one of our favorite authors. In his book, Inspiration: Your Ultimate Calling, he tells about eating at a mall court with his teenagers when a young boy walking by with a tray full of food stumbled. The food went flying all over the floor. The boy's parents came to his aid and the restaurant owner replaced all of the food at no cost. The odd thing was that no one made an effort to clean up the food that became a nuisance and even a hazard.

Finally, Dr. Dyer took it upon himself to clean up the mess and dispose of it. Seeing this, an observer came to the table and told Dr. Dyer's children that they had just been given a great lesson by their father. She told them that their father had demonstrated what it means to be a caring, helpful citizen and human being. She said that his one small act had inspired her.

How often in our lives do we not take the initiative to act when we see a need? What stops us? Maybe we feel that it is not our problem, or that someone else will take care of it? Perhaps we even feel a little foolish. But kindness and taking the initiative to help are never foolish.

There are so many examples of people in our 4Life family who do all the little things that often go unnoticed but are so powerful in our efforts to build people. We want to re-commit ourselves to be the kind of people who see a need and don't hesitate to do whatever we can to help make a difference. We challenge you to do the same.

I always keep in mind Juan’s words to “build a solid network.” This taught me not to focus my mind on the amount of my check, but rather, to learn to develop the character and the professionalism of a network marketing businessman.

During my first few years, I did everything I could in order to maintain and cover the basic needs of my home. In order to become financially free, I knew I had to sacrifice. I spent three years of hard, constant work, investing time and dedication in taking a message of freedom to people. In my fourth year, I reached Presidential Diamond and a year later, International Diamond. With those ranks came the cars, the homes, and the material goods. But the most important thing was that we learned to work together as a team.

None of this success would have been possible without my dear and deeply appreciated Venezuelan leaders who believed in themselves and in the dream of becoming free. He said, "We've searched for success together, and I didn't want to find it and then not tell you about it." A local educator here in Utah tells a story about a time in his youth when he loved to run track. It was his dream to be a runner. He performed very well until one of his coaches belittled his ability and told him he would never be a great runner. So, he quit. He gave up his dream. Years later as a young adult, this man was doing some volunteer service work in a different country where he rode busses to get around. He was working with a young man who happened to be one of the fastest runners from his state back home. They were late for an appointment and saw the bus they needed to take, but it was quickly fading from sight.

They both started running as fast as they could. As they caught the bus, they young man realized that he had outrun the star runner next to him. The star runner said, "Wow you are fast. You should have been a runner." As the young man reflected on this, he realized that he had allowed someone else to steal his dream. He had allowed someone else to determine what he was able to achieve or not achieve. He decided he would never let that happen again.

One of the greatest things you can do is to determine for yourself how you will accomplish your dreams. Recently, we were on an airplane. Before we took off, the airline showed a short video that highlighted the ways in which their company always strives to improve. A statement during the video really made an impression on us. "The thing you push against is the thing that lifts you up." It showed a plane as it raced down the runway and became airborne. We thought about the truth of this statement. Just as an airplane obtains the thrust it needs to become airborne by pushing against the force of the oncoming air, we can also ascend with strength and determination as we face opposition.

There are always things in our lives that provide an opposing force for us to push against. There will always be obstacles in anything good that we try to accomplish. With the recent tragedies in Japan, we have no doubt that the great Japanese people will rise to even greater heights as they face their challenges with courage and faith.

In 2002, I got involved with my first network marketing company. I received great business training, recognition, and income. But, I started to look for another company in which I could fulfill my dreams, put together a big organization, and build an honest business for myself and my partners. I had heard of 4Life and 4Life Transfer Factor^® products, but it wasn't until International Diamond Liya Alekseeva introduced me to the products and I witnessed amazing results with them that I really became interested.

As a medical doctor, I am very interested in the role that preventive medicine can play in supporting the health of the body. I believe it's not enough to just manufacture a good product. It's vital to inform consumers about the benefits of that product. I think that network marketing is the most effective model to promote wellness products because information can be shared with hundreds of thousands of people.

About a year after I joined 4Life, I met several members of the 4Life executive team and the Health Sciences Advisory Board. Speaking with them was pivotal in my 4Life experience. After that meeting, I dedicated all of my efforts to building my 4Life business. I worked hard and traveled a lot. I set out to achieve the Gold International Diamond level in two and a half to three years and I was able to accomplish that goal.

I have risen to high peaks with my 4Life business, but this is not the highest peak that I can conquer. I have laid a path for my followers so that it will be easier for them to achieve the same heights. I am grateful to my spouse and my team for helping me achieve my goals.

We all need to have a place to come home to, don't we? Is there anything sweeter in life than to return to loved ones after a time of absence? We had a chance to be welcomed back to the 4Life Home Office after spending 18 months in Italy serving a mission for our church. We were greeted at the office with the special red carpet treatment that some of you, our distributors, have experienced. It was wonderful! We really felt like we had returned to a family—our 4Life family. Not only were we greeted with warmth and appreciation, but we were excited to see how great the office looked. It was even better than when we left!

The future of 4Life has never been brighter. It is so exciting for us to be back into the everyday details of Together, Building People. So many wonderful things are happening around the world with 4Life. Isn't it interesting how we can sometimes gain a new perspective after being away? We have returned with an even greater enthusiasm and vision for the journey ahead for 4Life and our distributors. We thank you all for making the dream of serving a church mission possible for us. It was an experience we will always cherish. And we are also dedicated to the 4Life mission of Together, Building People. In many ways, we feel like we have only just begun.

4Life has helped me reach my goals. Because of my 4Life business, I was able to quit my job, buy my first car, and buy a penthouse. Lymari has also been able to quit her job. And, we built my mother the house of her dreams.

There's a very important reason that our company's mission is Together, Building People through science, success, and service. In January of this year, Foundation 4Life^® donated $18,750 USD to the non-profit organization Feed The Children to help pay for wood materials, various tools, and financial and transportation assistance for a new carpentry/vocational school in the municipality of Omoa, Honduras. On February 5, 4Life Senior Vice President of Marketing Trent Tenney and Foundation 4Life Director Tracie Kay joined Feed the Children representatives and local government leaders to attend the ribbon-cutting ceremony for the school. As the program succeeds, community leaders look forward to enlarging the facility and increasing the number of students who can enroll in these training courses. And, the school hopes to offer micro credit loans to students upon course completion that will allow them to start their own small businesses. Classes will begin in early March, with 20 boys and girls.

Trent and Tracie also traveled to La Ceiba and Tegucigalpita, Honduras, to present 2,000 school kits (assembled by 4Life distributors and executives at BIG Convention 2010) and over 1,200 school uniforms to children at five schools. The school kits and uniforms lessen the financial burden that families feel, which often causes them to exclude their children from attending school because they can't afford simple supplies. For nearly every child, the school kit they received is the first time they have ever owned something new—something of their own.

And last—but certainly not least—including our initial donation in Honduras in August 2010, 4Life and our distributors have donated over 1.4 million 4Life Fortify^® meals to children in countries such as Ecuador, Honduras, Philippines, Costa Rica, and the Dominican Republic. Christmas market in Verona, Italy

Happy holidays! We love celebrating this time of year in Italy. We especially enjoy attending the Christmas markets that take place in the open squares of Italian cities. Vendors sell special cheeses, breads, pastries, traditional Panettone and Paneforte cakes, wood-carved nativities, and even scarves and hats.

On January 6, Italians celebrate Epiphany, when the three kings came to give gifts to Jesus. Legend says that Befana was an old woman who was invited to follow the kings, but was too busy to go. Later, she regretted her choice and tried to find them. Befana spends her life seeking out all little children and filling their stockings with little candies.

The holiday season is also wonderful time to reach out in service to others. This was an incredible year for Foundation 4Life^® projects. Below are just a few of the many ways in which you've been able to make a big difference:

—Since introducing 4Life Fortify^™, we have already provided over one million meals to hungry children around the world. Thank you! Please help us reach our next one million meals. Plus, starting in early 2011, you can read all about our worldwide donations on 4lifefortify.com.
—We began a relationship with the Children of the Andes Foundation, an organization for kids living on the streets of Colombia. Foundation 4Life funded the renovation of a home for siblings. An additional donation of $45,000 from November will help the organization purchase furnishings, school supplies, playground equipment, and other items.
—The Home Office employees are participating in a food drive for our local food pantry during the holiday season, and employees will volunteer at the Utah Food Bank in January 2011. Also, we will donate physical education equipment to an elementary school in our community for underprivileged children and school uniforms for children in Honduras who were recipients of 4Life Fortify in July 2010.

In 2007, we had the opportunity to travel to New York City to represent Foundation 4Life^® and 4Life distributors on the TODAY show. Bianca appeared on-air to donate more than 600 blankets and pillows and 4000 bottles of enummi^® Intensive Body Lotion to the TODAY show holiday toy drive. It was so exciting to be invited by the Direct Selling Association (DSA) to make this presentation.

This holiday season, it was a great honor for 4Life to again appear on the TODAY show. Once again, it is because of the culture of caring and generosity that exists in the hearts of our wonderful distributors. This past Sunday, 4Life President Steve Tew and his wife Sherma represented the company and our distributors with a donation to the drive of more than $120,000 in school supplies and Life C^®, 4Life's seven-sourced vitamin C product. The donation consisted of more than 1,000 backpacks. Each pack included a water bottle, one bottle of Life C, colored pencils, crayons, a dual sharpener, and a pad of paper.

We know that our company could not have been better represented than with Steve and Sherma. We watched it all the way over here in Italy and they both did great!

The Secret to a Longer Life

What is the secret to a longer life? Is it supporting your health with 4Life products? While that's definitely a great idea, in the November 30, 2010 issue of USA Today, journalist and lecturer Gail Sheehy wrote that selfless caregivers might experience greater longevity. Stephanie Brown, associate professor of preventive medicine at SUNY-Stonybrook, followed a group of older adults caring for family members with dementia and other conditions. If they offered care for more than 14 hours a week, they were less likely to die in a seven-year period than their peers. This study makes one wonder if "survival of the kindest" is perhaps even more important than "survival of the fittest."

In an interview with Berkeley Psychology professor Dacher Keltner, Sheehy learned that caring for people is just as much a part of science as "fight or flight." Berkeley and Stanford Universities even have compassion centers devoted to the study and teaching of this theory. Sheehy also noted in her article that the 40 richest Americans who took the Giving Pledge—to commit the majority of their wealth to charity—are either middle-aged or elderly themselves. Sheehy's interpretation? Nice guys don't finish last—they die last!

Those of us who love to serve others recognize that doing good is in and of itself the greatest reward, but isn't it nice to know that it also comes with great side-effects? Since this is the season for giving, it's heartwarming to know that giving of ourselves is good for others and us. Now we have even more proof that the 4Life pillars of science, success, and service help us to build other people... and ourselves, too!

Special 4Life Events in South Korea and Japan

We love reporting about exciting 4Life events going on all over the world. In the past few weeks, some great things have been happening in Japan and South Korea.

Recently, 4Life distributors and executives gathered for the annual Japan Executive Training (JET) event at the Tokyo Disney Hotel in Tokyo, Japan. The event also marked the launch of 4Life^® NanoFactor^® Glutamine Prime^™. We're especially pleased to note that Japan was the first market outside of the United States to launch Glutamine Prime!

Distributor leaders also enjoyed a Disney^® Academy Training by Disney's legendary customer service staff. Everyone spent the night at DisneySEA^®, socializing and taking in the rides and scenery. The event concluded with distributor training on 4Life Japan's website, recognition, and a tour of the local office.

Also, over 400 4Life distributors recently gathered in South Korea for their 2010 convention. In addition to the launch of 4Life Transfer Factor^® Belle Vie^®, distributors celebrated an increase in sales and phenomenal growth. Build Things that Last

Milan Cathedral

This is a picture we recently took of the Milan Cathedral called the Duomo. It is very impressive. It took 400 years to build and has 135 spires, 150 gargoyles, 1100 internal statues, and 2300 external statues. Seeing the Duomo is a reminder to us that some things are truly built to last. Most of us live in a world of "instant" everything—instant breakfast, instant pudding, and instant gratification. Can you imagine working on something for many years and then never seeing the finished outcome?

In business and in our personal lives, we have found that it is worth taking the time to build things that will last. Often, this means that you need to take fewer shortcuts. Sometimes, merely taking 15 more minutes a day to do follow-up phone calls can make the difference. Or, perhaps you could hold one more meeting a month to help make sure your leaders put into place the right foundations for their organizations. An observant teacher once said that the difference between a C grade and an A grade is usually only 15 extra minutes of study time a day. We challenge you to evaluate your 4Life business. Are you building instant organizations and looking for instant success? Or, are you taking the time to build something that will last? Take that extra 15 minutes every day to build better relationships, a stronger family, and a more fulfilling life.

Several years ago, International Diamonds Joel and Jennifer Martínez introduced the 4Life opportunity to future Presidential Diamonds José Sánchez. José, in turn, decided to share 4Life with his good friend Edgar Rentería—shortstop for the San Francisco Giants, five-time All Star winner, and two-time Gold Glove recipient. Edgar and José met many years ago in Florida when they were both pursuing professional baseball careers. Throughout the years, they kept in touch. When José became a 4Life distributor, he wanted to share it with his friend Edgar. Did you know that about 40,000 books are published each year? It would take around 20 years—reading 24 hours a day—to read all of them! A really interesting book in our library is called Positioning: The Battle for Your Mind by Al Ries and Jack Trout. It has some fascinating statistics about the constant stream of information that battles for our attention. Books, magazines, TV, Internet (yes, even reading this blog adds to all that competes for your attention), and cell phones that do much more than allow two people to talk to each other—there truly is, as Ries and Trout write, a "traffic jam on the turnpikes of our mind."

So, how do you ever manage to get anyone's attention long enough to share the truly valuable 4Life message? The book suggests that people will remember what you have to offer if you keep your message simple and if you are the first and best at what you have to offer. We believe that 4Life succeeds at getting and keeping people's attention all over the world because we qualify in those area the authors suggest.

We have a simple message: we truly believe that we have the best immune system-supporting products on the planet and the best opportunity to achieve financial independence. The 2010 Silver Dollar award winners at BIG Convention 2010

One of the personal highlights of BIG Convention 2010 for me was the recognition of the Silver Dollar award winners. I get rather emotional when this award is presented because it brings back a lot of memories from my youth. As many of you know, the Silver Dollar award is based on an experience I had in high school. After looking for a way to earn some extra money, my friend and I purchased paint and number stencils and looked for neighborhoods that did not have home addresses written in very visible places. I obtained permission to paint house numbers on the curbs. After I did each individual home, I would ring the doorbell and let the homeowner know what I had done. I told the homeowner that there was no charge, but if he or she would like to make a donation, it would be greatly appreciated.

I will never forget the sweet elderly woman who gave me six dollars. I still have those six dollars today. Her sweet gift symbolizes the principle that in life and in business, people appreciate when we identify a need and then take the initiative to fill that need by providing a product or service. Those silver dollars remind me that true entrepreneurs seek new and creative ways to meet people's needs, even before that need is recognized or articulated. Many people in the world don't yet know that they need 4Life Transfer Factor^® products and the 4Life financial opportunity. Lessons Learned from Chris Gardner

One of the the highlights of BIG Convention 2010 was the chance to listen to and learn from Keynote Speaker Chris Gardner. Those of us who have seen the movie, The Pursuit of Happyness, know how distressing it was to watch Chris and his young son go from a bad situation to a worse one, eventually becoming homeless. At one point, they had to take shelter in a restroom at night while Chris trained during the day to fulfill his dream of working in the financial industry.

It was fascinating to hear the story from Chris's perspective. In the movie, Chris Jr. is portrayed as a five-year-old boy, when in real life he was 14 months old at the time they went through these trials. That makes a big difference, doesn't it? Chris told us that the only daycare facility close by required that children be potty trained. So, Chris sat his toddler down one day to have a "little talk" about potty training.

During his presentation, it really struck us that much of Chris's focus was on his relationship with his son. As successful as he became in the world of business and finance, and as an author and motivational speaker, it was easy to see that Chris's main motivation has always been his role as a father. This role has expanded to Chris's involvement in helping children everywhere improve their life circumstances as well. Meeting Chris backstage was also a treat. He was so personable and warm. Chris was impressed with the enthusiasm of our 4Life distributors. He said that great things happen when people are that excited to learn. We truly believe that great things will happen as we take all of the great lessons we learned at BIG Convention 2010 and apply them in our lives.

BIG Stories of Sacrifice

It's been truly amazing to hear stories about distributors who sacrificed so much to be with us at BIG Convention 2010. Here are just a few:

Sabino and Abigail Quiñones

International Diamonds Sabino and Abigail Quiñones from Mexico coordinated everything so that more than 50 distributors could travel to convention by bus. Planning for the excursion took over six months, with Sabino and Abigail organizing the bus rental, hotel reservations, food, and logistics. Most distributors in their group had to save for several months to afford the trip. Many shared hotel rooms and ate at less expensive locations to save money. Sabino and Abigail have said they make this huge sacrifice because attending convention—the speeches they hear, the friendships they make, and the motivation they gain from executives and leaders—helps them recharge their strength and better build their business.

In addition, many Muslim distributors attended convention. They traveled from several different countries around the world—some as far away as Singapore and Malaysia. We learned that convention took place during one of the most important Muslim holidays, Hari Raya Aidilfitri, which marks the end of the holy month of Ramadhan. During Hari Raya Aidilfitri, family and friends celebrate together at home and in their places of worship. They prepare special foods, decorate their homes, and give and receive presents. We were touched to find out that so many of our Muslim distributors chose to come to convention and forgo spending this special time with their families.

Thank you to all of you for the sacrifices you made to attend BIG Convention 2010. We're sure you know by now that it was well worth the effort!

An Open Letter to All of Our Amazing Distributors

Our hearts are full after seeing so many of you at BIG Convention 2010 in Salt Lake City, Utah a few weeks ago. Once again, we were so impressed by the caliber of people in our 4Life family. We were truly touched by your expressions of love and support. We met some of you after convention on our flight to New York and also on our flight back to Europe. We are grateful that so many of you came from so far to be with us. We always thoroughly enjoy the chance to meet our 4Life distributors in person.

A few of you that we met asked to take a picture with us. For the most part, we were able to fulfill these requests, but unfortunately, in a few instances, we weren't able to make it work. Please know that in these cases, we either had to get to a meeting or there were just too many people to accommodate everyone who wanted the opportunity to take a photo with us. Having to turn down any requests is our least favorite part of convention. We are thankful that we were able to meet so many of you, hear your great stories, and be inspired by your enthusiasm for 4Life. We have heard several stories about the enormous sacrficies that many of you made to be with us. Next week, we would like to share a few of these stories on the blog.

Platinum International Diamond Dream Stories: Dave and Gabriela Daughtrey

The history of 4Life would not be complete without Dave and Gabriela and their faith in the message of this company. Their enthusiasm for 4Life and 4Life Transfer Factor^® has fueled 4Life's success from the beginning. How thankful we are for their dedication, and their examples of the best values for which a person can aspire. Their ability to teach and influence others is making a great difference throughout the world today. The two of them are such an incredible team!

I studied electronic engineering in college, but decided early on that I was better suited for an entrepreneurial career. Before being introduced to 4Life, I spent over 20 years in the network marketing industry, both as a consultant and distributor. After a series of successes and failures, I found myself in a difficult situation. In 1998, I was living in a small apartment with very little money, and I had been combating chronic health problems for several years.

While I was searching for what was next, I learned about 4Life from a close friend. I had never heard of something that could educate your immune system. The more I learned about 4Life Transfer Factor^®, the more I became interested in marketing the product. During a trip to Utah to meet the 4Life executive team and see the Home Office, Gabriela and I decided to sign up as distributors. That was the day that one decision changed the future of our family. 4Life offered me the opportunity to build a real business, to build something for my future and my family's future.

When I first started, I didn't even have a car. But we made a decision and never looked back. Gabriela and I both felt that 4Life was going to be a successful company, with or without us. Becoming Platinum International Diamonds has helped us lead the way for others, and is hopefully an inspiration. This has been such an exciting and rewarding journey. We are proof that anyone willing to get involved and remain persistent can reach the top. We have built our dream house on top of a mountain in California with a great ocean view. We enjoy traveling, playing sports, and spending time with our six children: Diana, Leslie, Marcos, Fernanda, Brandon, and Ryan.

I continue to be very involved in all the markets where 4Life has a presence, and I have personally traveled to every country in which 4Life has an international office. My desire now is to see others achieve their goals and share in the same freedom I have experienced. Everybody has dreams and aspirations in life. One of the great things about 4Life is that by Together, Building People we can help each other accomplish those dreams and achieve success. Violin workshop in Cremona, Italy

Recently, we visited a little town in Italy called Cremona. It is considered the birthplace of the violin. Additionally, the famous violin maker Antonio Stradivari was born in Cremona. His Stradivarius violins are considered the finest in the world. The whole town is full of violin shops where you can meet and talk with some of the best violin makers in the world. We went to a hall where very old Stradivarius violins, as well as other very valuable violins, are on display in glass cases. Each day, the instruments must be taken out of their cases and played for 15 minutes, or else they will lose their ability to produce such incredible tones. It is said that some of the violins sound better now than they did hundreds of years ago. The violins sounded truly superb!

One thing that really struck us was the power of doing something consistently each day. What masterpiece could be accomplished in your life by dedicating 15 minutes of every day to a task you truly care about? How could you sharpen your business skills or improve your 4Life organization? Jeff and Michelle are two of the most passionate 4Life distributors. They have worked hard to build a global business. I initially started developing my 4Life business over 12 years ago after my previous career as a small-business owner fell apart. As I began looking at other options, I considered a network marketing business. I knew people who had made some serious money with it. I decided it was the only way I was ever going to get back on my feet financially.

I had heard about 4Life from some former colleagues, and also spoke with my friend, Platinum International Diamond Dave Daughtrey. After hearing good things about the products and learning more about Founders David and Bianca Lisonbee, I decided 4Life was the right company for me.

Since I couldn't afford a phone, my sponsor was gracious enough to give me a cell phone. I couldn't get any reception in my house, so I would drive up to a farmer's field to make phone calls, spreading my notes out on the hood. I was three months behind on my car payment and even had the electricity in my house turned off. My business grew as I spent time traveling to countries such as South Korea, Philippines, Singapore, Malaysia, China, Taiwan, and India.

When it comes to being a leader, it's not about you; it's about your team. Having good character is one of the most crucial aspects of being a leader. You need to be someone who keeps your word, follows through, and is dependable. I strive to remain committed to my team's success and let my distributors know I care about their businesses.

4Life has given me the chance to focus on family. In the beginning, I was taking care of the immediate needs. But as a result of my travels, I met Michelle and that really changed my life. We now enjoy life together in Tennessee with our children Micah, Alexander, and Arthur. I also have a grown daughter, Julia, who lives in Georgia. The most important thing I enjoy now is our family life with our children.

Three years ago, I came to the United States from Seville, Spain. When I lived in Spain, I worked at important corporate positions, but never felt fulfilled. After arriving in the USA, I got jobs working in a library and a restaurant in Miami. I worked 17 hours a day, rented a room, and barely got by. I didn't speak English and my educational qualifications, training, and work experience didn't transfer over from Spain.

Two and a half years ago, I was introduced to the 4Life opportunity by International Diamond Melanio Valdes. At the time I was skeptical, but I had enough faith to sign up as a Leader4Life. At that moment, my dreams and goals became real. I really believe that 4Life is a phenomenon. It is tearing down walls and boundaries. There are no different paths, only one path—success. 4Life is the perfect formula for combining diversity and plurality into unity.

Finding a Home with 4Life

Most of you know that we are serving a mission for our church in Milan, Italy. A big part of our assignment has been to start a center where young single adults can come to socialize and find inspiration. It has been a wonderful experience for us and we have met some great young people. Recently, a young man came to our center. He is studying with an extension program for his university in Miami, Florida. He doesn't speak Italian and felt pretty homesick at first. He became fast friends with the young people at the center, including Italians, Peruvians, Americans, Hungarians, Brazilians, and more. He said that he really felt at home.

It was a good reminder that all of us need to feel like we belong to a family. We all need a support group. It also reminded us that this kind of friendship can extend beyond cultures and language barriers. As 4Life leaders, you bring people and cultures together. We are so pleased that Salim Raghavan and Noor Azlina of Singapore recently achieved the Gold International Diamond level. An engineer who resigned his job to build a 4Life business, Salim and his wife have great people skills that help them connect with people from all walks of life. We know that they care deeply about the members of their team and work to motivate them in building their own businesses.

My whole journey with 4Life began with a simple brochure that was given to me. I thought to myself, "How much can this little brochure do?" After looking through the brochure and talking to Platinum International Diamond Sadik Din, I was impressed with the potential that 4Life Transfer Factor^® products could have to fulfill my dream of helping people to achieve health and wealth. At that point in time, I learned that one of my friends needed health support. So, I introduced 4Life Transfer Factor to him. In Memoriam: International Diamond Carmou Molarski

Carmou Molarski

We were saddened to hear about the recent passing of 4Life International Diamond Carmou Molarski of Texas. Our hearts go out to her family, friends, and 4Life group at this time.

Carmou Molarski was born on July 17, 1951, in Durango, Mexico. When she was a teenager, Carmou's parents moved their family to Texas to give their children the opportunity to learn English. Carmou met and married the love of her life, Luther Molarski, in El Paso. They farmed together, owned and operated an archery store, and eventually started a plumbing business. Carmou's friends said when she needed plumbing done at her home, she often did it herself! Carmou also graduated from beauty college and eventually opened her own shop near her home. Carmou was a worker!

Carmou joined 4Life as a distributor nearly ten years ago. As in everything she ever decided to do, Carmou worked hard, built her business faithfully, and eventually achieved the International Diamond rank. She was deeply loved and respected by all who knew her.

We loved reading these touching words about Carmou from her fellow 4Life distributors. 4Life distributor Jacque Cook from Texas said, "Carmou was the most beautiful, caring, and loving best friend. I loved her dearly. She was always thinking of everyone she cared about and was always there if you needed her. We have had a great ride together. We worked together, played together, and traveled together, even going to several 4Life conventions. We have always been there for each other through thick and thin, good times and bad times. I'm going to miss her terribly. She was the closest friend I ever had."

International Diamond Bonnie Hornsby from South Carolina expressed similar sentiments about her good friend Carmou. She said, "When I look back on the years I knew her, I think of what a beautiful lady she was both inside and out. She fought for what she believed in and would not give up. I admired her so very much. She was my business partner and my confidant, but mostly my friend. Her life was not easy but she always had a smile on her face when I was with her. I know she's in a better place now and so happy to be with Luther again. My life has been blessed to have had Carmou in it. I can't believe she is gone."

Our very own Vice President of Field Development Mark Petersen also had some wonderful things to say about Carmou. "Carmou was amazing to watch and be around. She had amazing strength cloaked in never-ending kindness. For years she has set the standard of bridging the gap between English and Spanish-speaking distributors in West Texas and Northeast Mexico. We will all miss her!"

Two of 4Life's bright and shining stars are Juan Rosado and his wonderful wife, Damaris. Not only are Juan and Damaris inspiring examples of how to achieve success as distributors, but they are also examples of successful human beings. They have led the way in their commitment to service and they have inspired others to do the same. Their dedication to their three beautiful daughters and the 4Life family is exemplary.

Before I was introduced to 4Life, I worked 12 hour days every weekday and an additional eight hours every Sunday as a security guard. I was struggling to make even simple financial and lifestyle goals a reality. Because I had only received a ninth grade education, I felt like I would always be stuck in this situation.

We learned about 4Life from Platinum International Diamond Dr. Herminio Nevárez, a long-time friend. Herminio asked me if I wanted to make my dreams come true. Of course I did, but I hadn't found a way to make it happen. I didn't understand the 4Life opportunity very well, but I was hopeful that I could begin to generate income that would bring me the financial freedom necessary to establish a new way of life.

Under Herminio's direction, I started building my 4Life business part-time, while continuing to work as a security guard. Night after night, I would share the plan, show the plan, and present the plan. I would talk to people who were looking for a new opportunity and if they had a desire to move forward, they would join me. One of my early goals was to have enough money to retire from my job as a security guard. I met this goal less than two years later.

We know that this world offers many things, but so many of those things seem to give us less time with the people we care about. The book is entitled El Guardia que Compro sus Sueños (The Security Guard Who Purchased His Dreams) and has sold over 75,000 copies.

I want nothing less than to continue making this opportunity available to the rest of the world. The chance to share this opportunity with other people and witness their own life-changing stories has been greatly satisfying.

We now have three beautiful daughters, Marianny, Aracelis, and Brianny, and live near Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Even though we have traveled the world together, there is no experience that is more marvelous than being home together, going to the beach together, or riding bikes together.

Had we not known it was based on a true story, we would have had a hard time believing that someone could overcome such challenges. And not only was he able to overcome great challenges, but he triumphed over them.

Of course you know that the person who lived this real-life story is Christopher Gardner. We have the singular opportunity to hear Christopher Gardner share his story with us at BIG Convention 2010 this September. We believe that hearing Christopher's story will be life-changing for everyone in attendance.

Christopher Gardner succeeded against great odds. As you watch the movie, you can't help but ache for the trials he faced. However, because of those trials, he is truly qualified to give us a message of substance and depth on how each of us can overcome obstacles in our personal pursuits of happiness.

Special Time Spent with 4Life Distributors

This past week we had the privilege of being with some of our Gold and Platinum International Diamonds on the Gold Getaway and Platinum Pinnacle trips. It was truly rewarding to celebrate the wonderful leaders of our company who help make dreams come true for so many others.

We met with the Gold International Diamonds in San Francisco, California. One of our fondest memories from this trip will be of cruising underneath the Golden Gate Bridge at sunset. We then got to join our Platinum International Diamonds in Kona, Hawaii at the Four Seasons Resort. It was a time of relaxation and rejuvenation, plus a little adventure in the forms of helicopter rides and hiking.

Of course, all these activities would be enjoyable in and of themselves, but to experience such wonderful places with inspiring members of the 4Life family made the trip much more than just a nice vacation. We also had the unique opportunity to congratulate our newest Platinum International Diamonds, Sadik Din and his wife Hasnimah. They went to the Gold Getaway and also joined us on the Platinum Pinnacle trip.

Sadik made a comment that really impressed us. He said that the greatest power God has given us is the ability to make choices. In the days since our trip, we have thought a lot about this. The mission of 4Life is all about giving people the opportunity to make the choice to improve their lives through science, success, and service. It was great to spend a few days with the wonderful leaders of 4Life who have chosen to take advantage of this great opportunity. We can hardly wait to be with those distributors who will join us next time. Choose now to be one of those people. We know you can do it!

Bonnie is the kind of person everyone would love to have as a friend or neighbor. Her leadership style embodies the Together, Building People philosophy. She loves people and loves seeing them succeed. Her enthusiasm and passion for 4Life, as well as her beautiful smile, are contagious.

When I was initially introduced to 4Life Transfer Factor^®, I wanted nothing to do with it. I received call after call from Dr. Gary Haagen, a retired chiropractor from Washington, who was one of the very first 4Life distributors. When I saw the difference the product made in my life, it got my attention and I knew I could build a business with 4Life. I began developing my business one day at a time and now my organization, which we call Team Bond, is literally all over the world. What once seemed impossible became possible.

I now live in Clovis, California, with my family, who travels the world with me. It was my dream to have my family living on one estate together, and now my son, daughter-in-law, two granddaughters, and three dogs live with me on the estate. My daughter and adopted daughter live in other areas of the United States.

I am committed to continuing to help my organization as we take 4Life across the globe. I have created a website with my team that gives distributors around the world access to what they need for success. Distributors need a place for prospecting, training, and mentoring. They need to stay in touch with a team and in tune with activities across the world. With this kind of connection, we all can stay motivated and find the strength to succeed.

We thought the line-up for BIG Convention 2010 was already stellar, but to have Kelly Clarkson perform just for 4Life distributors during the closing party is truly exciting. An already incredible convention registration value just went way up. We first remember hearing Kelly sing when she competed on American Idol. We got into the excitement with our children and we all cheered her on. It was evident that she was destined for stardom. We are thrilled to welcome Sadik Din and Hasnimah of Singapore as our newest Platinum International Diamonds! When we were in Malaysia last November, Sadik declared his goal to reach the Platinum International Diamond level. We had no doubt then that he would reach his objective, because Sadik is a man who works hard to make his dreams come true. His dedication to help others around him succeed exemplifies what being a Platinum International Diamond is all about. We could not be happier for him.

Sadik's family is an amazing example of the power of teamwork. A few years ago, Sadik's powerhouse sister Sheri attended convention for the first time and began introducing her family to the 4Life opportunity. After a few short years, Sadik has risen to the rank of Platinum International Diamond. Sheri and their brother Akram are both Gold International Diamonds, and many other family members have become successful 4Life distributors. This family works together, plays together, and builds their businesses together. What a wonderful model for all of us!

We are also thrilled about the recent overall growth in Singapore and Malaysia. From January to April of 2010, 4Life Singapore was up 53% over 2009. Malaysia posted an 88% increase during that time. Dedication in the Face of Adversity

We never cease to be inspired by you, our incredible distributors. Some of you may know that Gold International Diamond Eiichi Uemura from Japan has been going through some serious health challenges. He suffered a stroke some time ago, and has been hospitalized ever since. As you can imagine, it has been a very difficult time for his family, and especially his wife, Keiko. We were both so impressed with the fact that Keiko and their daughter Manami are building Eiichi's 4Life business while he is unable to do so. We were also especially touched by their desire to still attend the upcoming BIG Convention 2010 in September of this year.

Keiko made this comment to us: "Our family believes that showing affirmation in action is important. Many people know in their minds that something is good to do, or they have a belief of what they think is ideal, but we think it's just as important to act on your beliefs and share them with others." Keiko and Manami feel that by going to convention, they are showing the strength of their family's commitment to 4Life. They truly want to honor Eiichi in this manner.

This is another example to us that truly successful people don't look for excuses as to why they can't do something. Instead, they find ways to accomplish tasks, in spite of the challenges and obstacles in their way. Our thoughts and prayers are with the Uemura family and we commend them for their dedication, courage, and faith.

In Italy, as in much of the world, spring is finally here. We love the feeling of rebirth and rejuvenation that always seems to come this time of year. No matter how long and cold winter has been, spring brings new life and hope for the future.

Spring is definitely in the air at 4Life. Although many people around the world are still facing challenges as a result of the global recession, more and more people are realizing that as they help others discover the advantages of the 4Life products and opportunity, they can, in turn, improve their own financial situation.

We have been very pleased with the success of the 90 Days of Power challenge that was introduced at the end of 2009. March 2010 sales in the United States were up 40% over March 2009. Many of our global markets experienced a similar increase, with worldwide sales up 45% over the same month in 2009. This amazing growth doesn't have to end! Dream Story: New Gold International Diamonds Ileana and Hugo Johnson

We had the opportunity to meet the Johnsons at a 4Life meeting in Puerto Rico a few years ago. We were so impressed with their leadership as distributors and principles as individuals. They have a beautiful family and it was wonderful to see how well they work together. We have no doubt that they have many years of continued success ahead of them. We are so happy about their latest achievement, although it's not surprising!

We were introduced to 4Life several years ago by Platinum International Diamond Juan Rosado. We felt like what he was sharing with us was too good to be true, so we didn't give the opportunity the attention it deserved. We joined 4Life, but didn't commit ourselves to it. Two years later, we got a call from Gold International Diamond Angel Molina Gali. He told us about the 4Life opportunity and introduced us to Gold International Diamond Lily Sanchez, who's now our upline. We truly got a second chance to understand the greatness of the 4Life opportunity.

4Life has completely changed our lives. Through it, we have found a purpose for our lives and have helped make a difference in other people's lives. I tried for many years to build my organization but had very little results. Approximately ten months ago, I allowed myself to be guided by an incredible person. Gold International Diamond José Martín Rosado helped me find my special gifts that God has given to every single human being. I learned to teach others how to fish instead of giving them a fish. Here in Italy, people tell a story called, "The Egg of Columbus." The story goes that after Christopher Columbus discovered the New World, he spoke with a group of noblemen who told him that if he had not done it, someone else would have eventually. They were trying to diminish the greatness of what he had accomplished. Columbus then supposedly reached for an egg and challenged them to stand the egg on its end on the table. None of them could do it.

Columbus then proceeded to take the egg and gently crack one end of it, flattening it out enough so it could stand on its end. The noblemen immediately responded that they could have done it. Columbus responded that yes, they could have done it, but they didn't. It is easy to accomplish a feat after someone else has already done it, but how many take the initiative to do it first? And how many take advantage of the experience and knowledge of another to learn for themselves?

4Life is full of egg-cracking innovators who are finding ways to do what others thought could not be done. But the great thing is that we can learn from them! Visualize the greatness you desire to achieve in your life.

As you know, the theme for this year's convention is BIG: Be Inspired to Greatness. And to help you get the most out of your convention attendance, we have introduced three elements of the theme: 1) Visualize what you desire; 2) Set a plan in motion; and 3) Make it happen.

As 4Life executives, our job is to provide the vehicle by which distributors can realize their dreams. When two of our most valued employees decided to leave the corporate ranks to build their own 4Life businesses, it was easy to see that the 4Life dream is indeed real! Several years ago, Kevin Moore left his position as Premier Sales Manager to become a distributor, and recently, International Director of Field Development Leo Espinosa made the same move.
