Take care of your emotions

Recently, we were studying some research that was very thought-provoking. It examined the relationship between emotions, particularly negative ones, and our physical health. When we have negative feelings toward someone else, whether a spouse, partner, co-worker, or friend, it can hurt us more than the other person. Experiments in laboratories have shown that under the influence of powerful negative emotions, man's physiology deteriorates from coherence to chaos. It appears that nothing afflicts our psyche and our physiology more than feeling at odds with those closest to us.

Furthermore, researchers have discovered that every time we engage in unpleasantness with someone—at the office, with a loved one, or even while driving—our immune system becomes temporarily weakened. On the other hand, Dr. David Servan-Schreiber observes, "True empowering love makes us stronger physically, boosts our immune system, heals our emotional wounds and fears, and transforms troubled relationships."

Pretty interesting, isn't it? While 4Life Transfer Factor® provides important protection for the immune system, we must also be vigilant in protecting ourselves from the damaging effects of negativity. That makes it all the more important for us to cultivate human kindness and exercise consideration. While you might never think about missing a day of 4Life Transfer Factor, you may not always be as careful in observing the words you choose and how you communicate with those around you.

We have resolved as a couple to be more careful in examining our reactions and interactions in order to build strong and healthy relationships with our family, friends, co-workers, and acquaintances. Together, Building People and providing great products that support the healthy function of the immune system are what we do best at 4Life. And now it looks like the two things go hand in hand!

What makes 4Life different?

The 4Life Home Office rolls out the "red carpet" for Kim Ferguson.

When Gold International Diamond Kim Ferguson visited the 4Life Home Office recently, she brought two guests with her. We spoke at length with Kim about her thoughts on why new distributors choose 4Life. The guests she brought are especially interested in 4Life because of the unique message that we offer. See if their comments sound familiar to you:

1. They are impressed with the science of 4Life products.

2. They are excited about the opportunity to achieve success quickly through the Life Rewards Plan. They are also impressed with the consistent growth 4Life has experienced around the world.

3. They are grateful for the warm reception and service they have received from the 4Life staff.

4. They are impressed with the dedication and leadership they have witnessed in Kim Ferguson, a successful distributor who has been with 4Life for many years.

Kim's guests, and many others just like them, are attracted to 4Life because of what we offer in the areas of Science, Success, and Service. At 4Life, we are committed to leading the way in these three areas. We are grateful that so many people recognize that Science, Success, and Service are important pieces of what 4Life is all about. And when distributors build their 4Life businesses on these principles, their chance for overall success is much greater. We wish all of you continued growth and prosperity as we bring the best of Science, Success, and Service to the world!

4Life Success “Down Under”

Recently, we had the chance to go "Down Under" and join some of our 4Life family members in Gold Coast, Queensland, Australia for the 4Life Australia/New Zealand convention. It was wonderful to be with our distributors in that part of the world and celebrate all that they have achieved. The people of Australia and New Zealand are known for their entrepreneurial spirit, and this was certainly evident during the convention as they shared their enthusiasm for the 4Life products and opportunity.

During the Recognition Gala, we were treated to the amazing talents
of the "Team Diamond" band, led by 4Life Presidential Diamond and professional musician Tony Kruger. He sang "Life is wonderful" by Jason Marz, and changed the words to "4Life is wonderful." He was amazing! We think even Jason Marz would have been impressed!

We were inspired by 4Life Diamond John DeJose and 4Life Presidential Diamond Dr. Stephen Hardy, who are passionate in their research to use 4Life Transfer Factor to benefit animals in Australia. And, of course, we loved meeting with wonderful distributor leaders such as 4Life International Diamonds Barry and Sue Blake. They are such vibrant and caring human beings.

Great things are happening in Australia and New Zealand, evidenced by t
he passion and commitment we witnessed at their recent convention. We're confident that we'll continue to witness amazing success in that part of the 4Life world. To all those who are working so hard to take 4Life to the great people of Australia and New Zealand, we'd like to say, "Goodonya!"

Tony Kruger and the "Team Diamond" band entertain the crowd.

Presidential Diamonds Masa and Deanne Urasaki, Dr. CK Benny Foo, Desiree De Leeuw, and Marie and Michael Salmon receive awards.

John DeJose, Bianca Lisonbee, David Lisonbee, Dr. Stephen Hardy, and Gold International Diamond Indra Virasinghe hold a special meeting during the cruise on Sunday morning.

A group of happy 4Life distributors enjoy the Sunday cruise during the Australia/New Zealand convention.

Strengthening Families with 4Life Transfer Factor

David and Bianca Lisonbee with their grandchildren

One of the greatest joys of our 4Life experience has been the way in which the products have blessed the lives of our children and grandchildren. As parents and grandparents, it’s so important to us that our loved ones enjoy great health so they can experience life to the fullest. Watching how 4Life Transfer Factor has strengthened their immune systems has been so rewarding.

If we had developed these products just so our family alone could experience them, it would have definitely been worth it. But, we also want your family to experience 4Life Transfer Factor’s unique support. As you do, we are confident that you will find that the most important items in your medicine chest will be your 4Life Transfer Factor products.

Our new twin grandchildren just turned six months old in January. We were talking the other day about how healthy and happy they are. After consulting with her pediatrician, our daughter-in-law began giving 4Life Transfer Factor to the twins at a very young age to provide strong support for their developing immune systems. With three older siblings in preschool and elementary school, you can imagine all of the germs that come home! We’re grateful for the support that 4Life Transfer Factor has provided these little ones. After all, transfer factor is nature’s first supplement!

We wish the best for you and your families as you use 4Life Transfer Factor to support overall health and wellness. And, let’s continue to share these products with families throughout the world!

Building Lives Through 4Life Science

David Lisonbee, Shauna Young, Bianca Lisonbee, Steve Tew, and Doug Young

Our last blog entry featured Rolando Garcia’s story of building a 4Life business based on the 4Life pillar of Success. Today we would like to tell you about Shauna K. Young, CTN, Ph.D., a distributor who also recently visited our office. She was attracted to 4Life because of the strength of our Science.

Dr. Young is a Certified Traditional Naturopath. She has served as the owner and director of the Assertive Wellness Center in Durango, Colorado, since 2001. The AWC combines consultation in naturopathic medicine, nutrition, pain management, and their cutting-edge BioBaseLine Assessment Program. The center is one of the most successful of its kind. Shauna and her brother, Doug, office manager for AWC, are committed supporters of 4Life Transfer Factor products. Their experiences have shown that when you strengthen the immune system, you’re better able to promote the health of the entire body.

The use of 4Life Transfer Factor is a key component in Shauna’s patient protocol. She has clients from 49 states in the U.S. and many countries around the world. We really enjoyed listening to her great success stories and getting a sense of her passion for giving people the right tools to support their health. It was inspiring to be reminded of the extraordinary support our products provide, and the powerful impact they make in the lives of people throughout the world.

In both 2006 and 2007, Dr. Young was the recipient of the Distinguished Award of Excellence from the internationally-recognized Global Foundation for Integrative Medicine. She has also been knighted into the international order of the prestigious humanitarian group, Sovereign Medical Order of the Knights Hospitaller. (We’ve never before met a woman who has been knighted!)

We thoroughly enjoyed visiting with Shauna and Doug, two more examples of the incredible people that are part of our 4Life family. Together, we really are using the pillars of Science, Success, and Service to build the lives of people all over this planet.

It is such an honor to be associated with all of you.

Invest in your dreams at illuminate ’09!

Rolando and Nohemi García

This week we had a chance to host 4Life International Diamond Rolando García at the Home Office. At 26 years old, he is one of the youngest International Diamonds in the world. We were all inspired as he shared the sacrifices he made to attend 4Life Convention 2006, and how that event blessed his life. He raffled off a TV so he could rent a van and drive 36 hours from Brownsville, Texas, to Salt Lake City, Utah. He said it was a miracle that the van made it.

It would have been a lot easier for Rolando to go to convention after his 4Life business was more successful. It really wasn't practical to make the trip without a car, money, and time off from his job. But as Rolando said, "When the dream is big enough, the facts don't matter." Rolando understood that there is no better way to catapult your 4Life business to success than by attending convention. He brought three people in 2006. He brought 40 people in 2007. For illuminate '09, he has chartered a plane and is planning on bringing 500 people. Rolando said, "That's the power of convention!"

Rolando also noted, "We tend to make the most important decisions of our lives during the most difficult times." Making the decision to start 4Life wasn't easy, but we knew that anything truly worthwhile requires an investment. Whether an emotional or financial investment, we must give something in order to get something in return. Aren't your dreams worth it?

To those who might think it's just not practical to join with us in Orlando, remember that your dreams are much bigger than the facts. If you're in a difficult place in your life right now, it's even more important to come to convention, tap into its power, and change your life for the better.

We look forward to seeing all of you in Orlando in May!
