Steve Tew Authors Article for Direct Selling News

4Life President Steve Tew recently authored a "Top Desk" feature article in Direct Selling News, the world-leading trade journal for the direct selling industry. What a great opportunity for 4Life and Steve as well! Steve wrote about our Direct Selling Association (DSA) membership and how this relationship benefits 4Life distributors.

Here are some of the topics Steve covered in his great article:

—4Life's participation in DSA-driven lobbying efforts to support the direct selling industry
—Our involvement as a Platinum Sponsor at the DSA Annual Convention and work on several DSA committees
—4Life's participation in various media and service opportunities, such as our corporate appearances on the TODAY show
—4Life's membership in 12 different international DSA organizations
—Our partnership with the Direct Selling Education Foundation (DSEF) to educate the public about the benefits of direct selling

We are proud to be long-standing members of the DSA and we do all we can to protect the longevity and integrity of the 4Life financial opportunity for our distributors worldwide. As Steve stated in the final paragraph of his article, "Not only are we in the 'person-to-person' business, but we're in business with family and friends. As such, it's vital that we support the ongoing efforts of the Direct Selling Association and conduct business in ways that honorably reflect our membership."

One Million YouTube Views!

Our YouTube channel, youtube.com/4liferesearch, recently reached the "one million views" milestone. 4Life videos have been watched over one million times! Since launching 4Life's YouTube channel in December 2006, our videos have been viewed as many as 12,000 times per day.

With YouTube, you can instantly communicate 4Life's message of science, success, and service with family, friends, and prospects. When you subscribe to the 4Life YouTube channel, you'll receive email notifications whenever a new video is uploaded, plus announcements, Facebook uploads, and link sharing with Twitter.

This is such an exciting milestone for our social media program and 4Life as a whole. Social media, such as YouTube, has become an important avenue for 4Life to communicate with our distributors and recognize your tremendous achievements. And even more importantly, it's a great way for you to network, share information, and establish your own personal brand. The world of social media is full of great conversations. So, if you haven't already done so, we hope you'll join 4Life's social media community and get involved in the conversation!

Visitors at the 4Life Home Office!

Recently, Presidential Diamond Idalí Moreno from Arizona visited the Home Office, bringing 30 members of her group with her. It was wonderful to see their enthusiasm and spirit. They were all very passionate about 4Life and our mission of Together, Building People. It was especially nice to see several children in the group—a wonderful reminder that 4Life is all about building people and strengthening families.

Idalí Moreno first heard about 4Life when she was searching for an effective health product for a family member and a new financial opportunity for herself. She believed that 4Life was the perfect fit for her family. Idalí recognizes the importance of staying committed to her dreams and she teaches her team members to build their businesses with curiosity, confidence, courage, and consistency. Thank you for visiting with your group, Idalí, and keep up the great work!

Don't Be Your Worst Enemy

Recently, we learned about the experience of a young woman who dreamed of playing basketball at a college that she loved and wanted to attend. This young woman played on her high school team, and after graduation, she decided to try out for the college team of her dreams. The college coach even talked to her personally about it.

The young woman described what she felt as she arrived at the gym door the day of tryouts and observed the other girls. She thought they looked taller, faster, and better than her. This young woman stood longingly at the door for quite a while before deciding that she would not go in. It wasn't until years later that her acquaintance with the college coach was re-kindled. The coach said something that felt like a dagger in the young woman's heart. The coach asked her why she never came to try out. Apparently, that year the team had a vacancy that the young woman could have filled nicely.

You can imagine the regret and sense of sorrow that this woman felt when she realized that no one had kept her from her dream except herself. We have thought about this experience a lot. What false perceptions or self-imposed limitations do you place on yourself that keep you from achieving your dreams?

With Convention 2012: Passport to Freedom coming up in April, it's a great time to think about what's holding you back and what you need to do to fight for your freedom. Don't become your worst enemy and get in the way of fulfilling your potential!

Spotlight on Gold International Diamonds Dr. Eduard Hutabarat & Katharina Sihombing

Congratulations to our newest Gold International Diamonds, Dr. Eduard Hutabarat and Katharina Sihombing from Indonesia! We are so proud of their commitment in bringing the 4Life message to this brand-new market. We look forward to witnessing all of their future 4Life accomplishments.

Before 4Life, I worked as a doctor at a 24-hour clinic for five days a week and my wife Katharina stayed at home. My cousin, Presidential Diamond Ronald Hasiholan Lubis, introduced me to 4Life Transfer Factor Factor. After learning about the financial opportunity, I thought it might be the avenue to help my wife and I work together. Network marketing has given us the freedom to choose what we want to do with our lives.

I am so grateful that I have achieved the Gold International Diamond level. I still cannot believe that I am the first-ever Gold International Diamond in Indonesia. My wife and I are ready for new challenges as we work together to help our downline distributors become future Gold International Diamonds in Indonesia. I am so proud of my team!

Our lifestyle has changed in so many ways. We have traveled to many cities in Indonesia and 4Life has given us the opportunity to see other parts of the world. And, we feel so thankful to give part of our bonus check every month to charities that are important to us.

In building my 4Life business, I have followed our educational system, stayed committed to my dreams, and remained persistent. I'm motivated by our big dreams and the dreams of my downline distributors. Sometimes people might not want to listen to what you have to offer when you talk directly to them, but when they witness your life change, they will want to follow you.

Walk the Talk

I've heard people say that they sometimes find it tough to really convey the power of 4Life Transfer Factor® because they don't have what they think is a great personal story with the products. They worry that because they don't have a dramatic, life-changing story, they'll somehow not be able to adequately share the benefits of the products. But I don't think that's true. You don't need to have a dramatic story to be passionate about 4Life products. You just need to be passionate. And if you want to be passionate about 4Life products, you need to "walk the talk."

Some of our top leaders use the phrase "walk the talk" when it comes to the products, but what does it mean? It means that you don't just talk about the products and the powerful support they can provide. You take the products yourself. You have them out where people can see them. You make the products part of your everyday life.

I love 4Life Transfer Factor products, which should come as no surprise to anyone. They have been an important part of my life for many years. One of my favorites is 4Life Transfer Factor® Classic, partly for sentimental reasons. It was our first product containing transfer factors and it's still a great foundation for immune system support and balance. I'm also never without 4Life Transfer Factor® RenewAll because it has so many uses. I like to keep a tube in my car and it always comes in handy!

Become a Product of the Product

In the beginning days of 4Life, I was less than thrilled when David first approached me about wanting to start another business and bring transfer factors to the marketplace. I knew what kind of effort and sacrifice it would require. Although what he told me about transfer factors sounded amazing, it wasn't until I tried the product for myself that I gained the passion and desire to do what it would require to take it to the world. I know—without a doubt—that we have something extraordinary to share with the world and that many people can benefit from these products, as my own family has done.

What is your favorite 4Life product and why? It is hard for me to choose because I like so many of them for different reasons, but I think that along with 4Life Transfer Factor® Tri-Factor® Formula and 4Life® Transfer Factor Plus® Tri-Factor® Formula, 4Life Transfer Factor® Immune Spray and Fibro AMJ® Day-Time Formula are at the top of my list. I love carrying the spray with me when I travel (which is a lot) and I use it often to strengthen my immune system against the many elements that come into play with worldwide travel. Another long-time favorite of mine is Fibro AMJ Day-Time Formula. Whenever I know I am going to be putting an extra strain on my muscles, I gear up by increasing my usage of that great product to help me in both my performance and recovery.

It's easy to share these products because they are so much a part of my life. When you believe strongly in the power of something, it isn't hard to share that passion with other people. That's what being a product of the product is all about!
