It's so wonderful when distributors catch the spirit of giving and really make it a part of the culture of their 4Life® team. When you achieve success and then share that good fortune with others through service endeavors that make a real difference, the true meaning of Together, Building People® comes to life. In California, Ohio, and Florida, distributor groups are getting involved with the Foundation 4Life® education program to provide service to children in need.
Each week, International Diamond Janice Skeen and the Akron A Team meet to assemble and deliver snack packs to Barberton Elementary West school in Barberton, Ohio. Many children at the school come from families that struggle to provide food on a regular basis. The packs are designed to provide high-risk children with snack items to sustain them over the weekend, when they can be the most vulnerable to hunger.
The Akron A Team loves working together to help children in need every week in Ohio.
In Miami, Florida, 4Life leaders were instrumental in kicking off our sponsorship of Fienberg-Fisher K-8 Center. And, distributor groups led by Platinum International Diamonds Juan and Damaris Rosado have continued to support the school. Currently, they're raising funds to purchase school uniforms for families who struggle to afford this basic educational item.
4Life distributors in Florida have gotten personally involved in service efforts at Fienberg Fisher K-8 Center.
4Life distributors in Downey, California who support the U.S. education program participated in Downey Unified School district's Adopt-a-Family program during the 2013 holiday season. Led by Gold International Diamonds Renaldo and Lymari Sánchez and Byron and Analia López, distributors and team members personally donated gifts that were requested by the single-parent families.
These 4Life distributors enjoyed serving needy families in California during the holiday season.
One of the objectives of the U.S. education program is to give distributors the chance to serve in their local communities. These distributors have taken this service opportunity to heart and have gotten their team members involved in a very real way. When we work together, we can accomplish so much more than we ever could alone. You are great examples to us!
